Exceed Learning Partnership shortlisted for Medium MAT of the Year at the MAT Excellence Awards 2026

24 February 2026

Exceed Learning Partnership has been shortlisted for Medium MAT of the Year at the prestigious MAT Excellence Awards 2026. This is an incredible achievement for Exceed Learning Partnership as it continues its mission to deliver high-quality, inclusive education that transforms life chances for children and young people across its communities.

“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for Medium MAT of the Year,” says Beryce Nixon OBE, CEO of Exceed Learning Partnership. “This recognition reflects the unwavering dedication of our staff, leaders, directors and governors, and our collective commitment to ensuring every child thrives. We are proud of the collaborative culture we have built across our Trust, where excellence, inclusion and ambition underpin everything we do."

“To be recognised nationally is a testament to the strength of our shared vision and the impact we are making together across our academies. This shortlisting belongs to every colleague and every pupil within our Trust community.”

This achievement comes in the wake of many recent initiatives and accomplishments across Exceed Learning Partnership, including:

  • Strengthening Trust-wide leadership development and professional learning opportunities for staff at all levels, including a variety of CPD and professional network events.
  • Four academies receiving formal commendation from the Secretary of State for Education for achieving academic outcomes that rank among the best in the country.
  • Expanding enrichment experiences such as Trust-wide cultural events, pupil leadership opportunities and community engagement programmes.
