Sheep Dip Lane Academy

We are a caring, vibrant  primary academy in Dunscroft, Doncaster with 267 children aged 3 to 11. All the children and staff at Sheep Dip are so proud of our academy and the strong relationships we have. The academy is at the heart of the community and continues to grow as new generations return and our neighbourhood continues to develop being part of a regeneration area.

Our children and staff benefit from learning within rich learning environments indoors and outdoors. Within Foundation Stage pupils receive an excellent start to their learning journeys with our Forest School and immersive classrooms and provision. Throughout the academy learning spaces indoors and outdoors have been created to provide opportunities for children to learn and develop, from our ‘reading snuggery areas’ to our  purpose built library, sensory garden and beach area alongside intervention spaces. 

Outside, the grounds provide wonderful opportunities for sporting and environmental activities, where the children can grow and flourish. Partnership with parents and carers, as well as local businesses and organisations are so important to us as they enable our curriculum to support children to be successful members within the community. 

Children are at the heart of everything we do at Sheep Dip Lane Academy, they need to feel safe and happy in a place where they are nurtured and develop - 'We believe, achieve and thrive together!'
