Seamless Digital Access: The Core ICT Entitlement for All Our Academies

Robust ICT Infrastructure and Proactive In-House Support: Our Trust boasts a robust ICT infrastructure, underpinned by a dedicated in-house ICT team. This team provides proactive support across the entire Trust, ensuring minimal downtime and swift resolution of any technical issues. The benefit of this approach is a highly responsive and reliable IT environment that empowers staff and students to leverage technology effectively without interruption, fostering a seamless educational and operational experience.

Optimised 1:3 Pupil Device Ratio: We maintain an impressive 1:3 pupil device ratio, guaranteeing that all pupils have consistent and equitable access to the latest technology. This commitment ensures that digital learning is integrated seamlessly into the curriculum, allowing students to develop essential 21st-century skills, engage with interactive content, and personalise their learning journeys. The increased access fosters digital literacy and prepares them for a technology-driven future.

Empowering Teaching Colleagues with Cutting-Edge Technology: Every teaching colleague within the Trust is equipped with access to the latest technology, including modern laptops, essential software licenses, and comprehensive teaching and learning toolkits. This commitment empowers educators to create dynamic and engaging lessons, integrate digital resources effectively, and utilise innovative pedagogical approaches, ultimately enriching the learning experience for all students

Proactive Online Safeguarding Measures: We are committed to online safeguarding through the introduction of richer, centrally managed content filtering and advanced online monitoring tools. These platforms provide us with the capability to monitor all students' online Browse and access activity. This proactive approach ensures a safe and secure online environment, protecting our students from inappropriate content and potential online risks, while allowing them to explore and learn digitally with confidence.

Leveraging Google Workspace for Education: We fully utilise Google Workspace for Education, enabling all colleagues and pupils to seamlessly access and collaborate on documents across the entire Trust estate. This cloud-based suite fosters efficient teamwork, promotes real-time collaboration, and streamlines administrative tasks. The benefits of Google's robust infrastructure include high availability, strong data security, and ease of access from any device, enhancing productivity and communication.

Unyielding Commitment to Cyber Security: Our commitment to cyber security is paramount. We have upgraded firewalls, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), rich policies and processes. Furthermore, we maintain deeper integration with external cyber security partners. These measures collectively safeguard our data, protect against evolving cyber threats, and ensure a secure digital environment for our entire Trust community.

Continued Commitment to a Cloud-First Strategy: Our continued commitment to a cloud-first strategy is exemplified by our transition to a modern, cloud-based School Management Information System (MIS). This initiative has revolutionised data access and processing across all devices, providing deeper, more accessible insights into our student data. This migration promises enhanced flexibility, scalability, and security, ultimately leading to more informed decision-making and improved pupil outcomes.

Embracing Advancements in Digital Technologies, Including Generative AI: Our Trust takes a proactive approach to advancements in digital technologies, particularly the emerging use of Generative AI. We are actively exploring its potential to positively impact back-office operations, enhance teaching and learning content delivery, and improve student output. This forward-thinking strategy aims to leverage AI to drive efficiencies, personalise learning, and prepare students for a future shaped by advanced technologies.

Substantial Ongoing Investment in ICT Infrastructure: We demonstrate a strong and continued investment in our ICT infrastructure, allocating over £750,000 per academic year across the Trust. This significant financial commitment ensures that our technology remains cutting-edge, reliable, and capable of supporting the evolving educational and operational needs of our schools, guaranteeing a high-quality digital experience for all users.
