Photography and Digital Media Consent Policy and Procedures

At Exceed Learning Partnership we love celebrating our pupils' achievements, creativity, and daily life across our family of schools. Sharing these moments whether in newsletters, on our websites, or via social media helps build a vibrant, connected community.

However, protecting our pupils' privacy and data security is our absolute priority. To ensure we are meeting the highest standards of safeguarding and data compliance, we have introduced an updated Photography and Digital Media Consent Policy, effective from the start of the next academic year.

Managing Your Preferences

We believe parents, carers, and older pupils should have clear control over how their image and digital footprint are used. We use Arbor to securely collect and manage these permissions. Parents and Carers log into their parental portal account on Arbor and submit their consent for 1st September 2026. For parents/carers with Pupils aged 12 and over, the same consent form is completed, but you must confirm you have discussed this and agreed this with your child/

Can I change my mind later?

Yes. You can update or withdraw your consent preferences at any time throughout the academic year.

Parents and Carers: Download the Parental Change/Withdraw Consent Form below.

Pupils aged 12 and over: If you wish to change or withdraw your own consent, please download the Pupil Change/Withdraw Consent Form below.

Once completed, please email the form to [email protected]

When does the new policy take effect?

The updated consent framework comes into effect on 1st September 2026 for the start of the new academic year.

What happens to my current consent choices?

Your existing consent permissions remain fully valid and active for the remainder of the current 2025/2026 academic year. The new consent will be applied to your child's record from 1st September 2026.

What if I have children at different schools within the Trust?

You will need to submit a consent declaration for each child individually via your Arbor account, as permissions are tied directly to each pupils secure record.

Need Assistance?

If you have any questions regarding the updated policy, or if you experience any technical difficulties logging into Arbor, please contact the administrative team at your child’s school, who will be happy to assist you.
