Data Protection 

At Exceed Learning Partnership, we take our responsibility to look after your personal data very seriously. We are committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect the information of our pupils, parents, and staff in line with UK data protection laws.

Ensuring your privacy is a priority. We have robust systems in place to keep your information secure and to ensure it is only used for legitimate educational and administrative purposes.

Your Information Rights

You have specific legal rights regarding the data we hold. If you want to ask us for information, please use the email addresses below and our Data Protection Officer (DPO) will follow up on your request.

Subject Access Request (SAR)

What is this? Use this to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child.

Statutory Response Time: We will respond within one calendar month of receiving your request.

Data Protection Complaints

If you believe that Exceed Learning Partnership or any of our academies has infringed data protection legislation, or you are unhappy with how we have collected, stored, or used your personal information, you have the right to make a data protection complaint.

How to make a complaint: You can submit a data protection complaint in any way you choose:

In Writing: Post your complaint to our registered office: Data Protection Officer, Exceed Learning Partnership, 6-9 Railway Court, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN4 5FB.

Phone: Speak directly to the Data Protection Officer on 01709 805175.

What happens next?

We will formally acknowledge receipt of your data protection complaint within 30 days.

Our Data Protection Officer will investigate your concerns thoroughly and without undue delay. We will keep you updated on our progress.

Once our investigation is complete, we will write to you to explain the outcome.

If you are a pupil, you can talk to any trusted adult or teacher at your academy if you are worried about how your information is being looked after, and they will help you submit a complaint.

Escalating your complaint

If you are not satisfied with our response, or you believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You can contact them via the ICO website. https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/
