Primary School Enterprise Challenge 2024

24 June 2024

Last week, our Primary Academies represented themselves at Primary School Enterprise Challenge 2024 which took place at Barnsley Metrodome.

The Primary Enterprise Challenge gives children the opportunity to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test and compete against each other. Working in teams, the children are set to work on real life business challenges, which are set by real life businesses.

This helps to develop a number of enterprise and employability skills of all the young learners who take part, including sharing ideas, aiming high, listening carefully, leadership, creativity, problem-solving and presentation.

Amongst the winners on this year’s Finals Day were Exceed’s very own Edlington Victoria Academy, Willow Primary School and Carr Lodge Academy - with Willow taking home two awards and Carr Lodge Academy being crowned the overall winner of this year’s event.

We would like to congratulate all of our schools for all their hard work surrounding this project and a massive thank you to all of the team at Primary School Enterprise Challenge for creating such a fantastic initiative. We are already looking forward to next year.
