18 September 2025

Exceed Learning Partnership is proud to announce that it has been highly commended at the National Governance Association’s Outstanding Governance Awards 2025, recognising the Trust’s commitment to excellence in governance and its impact across the Doncaster community.

The awards celebrate the very best examples of school and multi-academy trust governance nationally, shining a spotlight on the vital role that Governors and Trustees play in ensuring strong leadership, high standards and ambitious futures for young people.

Beryce Nixon OBE, CEO of Exceed Learning Partnership, said: “We are delighted to have been highly commended at the NGA’s Outstanding Governance Awards 2025. This recognition is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our Directors, Governors, Trustees and Local Governing Boards, who work tirelessly to ensure that every child has access to the very best education and opportunities. We are incredibly proud of our governance community and the difference they make every day.”

Exceed Learning Partnership’s commendation highlights the Trust’s strong vision, collaborative approach, and dedication to empowering pupils, staff and local communities. The recognition reflects the Trust’s culture of transparency, inclusivity, and continuous improvement, where governance is central to driving success for all learners.

Director John Blount, who has been the Chair of Directors at Exceed Learning Partnership until stepping down at the beginning of September said “It is an honour to see Exceed Learning Partnership recognised at a national level for its governance. Being highly commended at these awards is a reflection of the dedication, expertise and teamwork of Exceed. I am immensely proud of the role governance has played in supporting the Trust’s growth and ensuring the very best outcomes for children and communities.”

The commendation reinforces Exceed Learning Partnership’s position as a leading Trust committed to delivering excellence in education through strong governance, shared values, and a relentless focus on improving life chances for all children.
