Exceed Learning Partnership go above and beyond with MAT Primary Results

Exceed Learning Partnership has achieved significant success in its recent Key Stage 1 and 2 results, reflecting the dedication of both staff and students. Academies across the Trust saw impressive improvements in pupil attainment, with many students surpassing national averages in core subjects such as reading, writing, and maths.

Across Early Years and Key Stage 1, results showed that all of Exceed’s academies are achieving higher than the national benchmark in EYFS GLD and Y1 Phonics. In Y2 Phonics, All academies are achieving above 90% in the year 2 phonics assessment. Results for Reading, Writing, Maths and Combined indicated that the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard by the end of year 2 is above 2024 national reading, writing, maths and combined level. This was also the case in Greater Depth.

This success was replicated across Key Stage 2, with Year 6 students across Exceed achieving above the expected 2024 national and 2023 local standard for reading, writing and maths. The Trust average in Greater Depth was also above the 2022 local and national averages.

Chief Executive, Beryce Nixon OBE acknowledged the results, stating “We are incredibly proud of the outstanding performance of our students at Key Stage 1 and 2. These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teachers and students, as well as the strength of our curriculum. By building a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy, we are setting our children up for continued success throughout their educational journey”.

Chair of Directors, John Blount added “These results are a reflection of the unwavering commitment of our educators, the hard work of our students, and the strong support of our families. As a Board, we are deeply proud of these achievements. We remain dedicated to maintaining this trajectory of excellence and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.”

These results are a product of the resilience of both staff and pupils alike. All of our academies will look to build upon these achievements as they face the challenges that lie ahead in the new academic year.
